Slitting Services
Coil slitting is a process that cuts a metal main coil into a number of narrower coils by passing the main coil through a series of cutting specialised knives. During the cutting process, the main coil is broken by weight and packed to varied specifications.
The steel cutting process requires heavy machinery to accurately cut steel with smooth edges. Each steel cutting machine has a nominal capacity to cut only a limited number at a time. A steel cutter that doesn't have enough torque and mass to cut thicker metals will produce poor edges. Siegal Steel has cutting machines in thick steel that guarantees a precise and clean edge for the customer's processing.
