Cut To Length Services

Our cut-to-length (CTL) service is capable of processing both narrow and wide width steel coils to provide a wide variety of lengths as per customers' requirements. These CTL lines are capable of processing thicknesses up to 25 mm and speeds up to 150 m / per min. The CTL lines are equipped with start-stop shears, flying shears, rotating shears, air cushion stackers or bomb-door together with high precision levellers of four to six high backup rolls. To efficiently process the entire range of material processed in a single line, the box levellers include levelling rollers of different diameters that can be switched automatically and promptly.

Our CTL service can produce dead flat sheets that are totally free of trapped internal stresses. This product is particularly suitable for customer segments where cut blanks need to be reworked with laser cutters or plasma torches. SSI is also able to supply Cut-To-Size material according to customers' requirements. These custom cut materials optimize losses and increase yield for our customers.
